Siblings Project ~ July 2016

So the first week of the school holidays is nearly over, and what a great one it’s been. The weather has had a complete U turn  and  summer has officially arrived in Yorkshire. I will not hold my breath but while it’s here we are enjoying every ounce of it.

So on that note we decided we would visit Hemsworth waterpark and play area for the day. The kids both love it there. There is an area set up like a beach where kids can play on the man made beach and also enjoy a paddle in the lake.

I thought today was also a got opertunity to grab some pictures of them together for July’s Siblings project.

We had a wonderful day enjoying our picnic , well I say picnic ….I suddenly realised I’d not been shopping and had nothing for our sandwiches we grabed some fruit and on our way called in at tesco for a meal deal for each of us …Although not the best picnic we really enjoyed eating outdoors it really does make a difference.

We paddled in the lake enjoyed going on the peddle boats where the kids decided they would peddle…..we nearly crashed twice and the poor ducklings had to make a quick dash for it a few times but managed not to sink or anyone end up over board so thats a bonus !

Before we set off for home we enjoyed an ice cream and had a little play on the play area.

It’s really was a great day and I’m hoping the weather will last and we will be able to make another visit. I managed to grab some great pictures of the kids together for the month on July. They are changing and growing all the time it will be lovely to look back over the months and see how they’ve changed and grown. I still can’t get my head around that William is 10 in September, where did my little boy go ? But I have got to say he is a very polite sensitive and caring boy and turning into a wonderful young man.

Until next time

Those children are precious and look happy. I am glad you visited my blog and hope you will be patient with my summer schedule which means less visits. I work 44 – 48 hours at an auto parts warehouse job but in two, sometimes three seasons, I have time to read and visit. Smiles, Robin
