Firstly I want to start by saying Happy New Year to you all. Its not only a brand new Month but the start of a brand New Year !!
The New Year is such an exciting time with a full year to plan and think about. A brand new chapter and fresh start. It gives me the kick up the bum to kick start into getting myself organised and think about what I hope to achieve and plan for the year ahead. I don’t make new years resolutions as such but I do see it as an opportunity to think about what I want to achieve in the next twelve months. Has my blog moves into its third year I’ve been thinking of ways I can move forward and decided to make a few changes to my content. Read about what my blogging plans are here.
Last year I started writing my could-do list’s, a gentle reminder to enjoy the little things in life and not bog ourselves with endless to do lists !! So I’m continuing with sharing my could-do lists with you. Sharing the small things I’d like to do in the upcoming month, a chance to focus on what I would like to achieve in the forthcoming month without feeling under pressure. A could-do list is different, it’s a list you shouldn’t feel under pressure to complete, but more of a reminder to take it slow and enjoy the little things.
January can be a bit of a come down after the excitement of Christmas. For me it’s all about the new beginnings embracing the slowness and enjoying the peace and quiet January brings.

Begin to clear out and declutter
Feed your body and mind with the good stuff
Enjoy lazy Sunday mornings
Update my wardrobe
Continue to read and make a reading list for 2018
Get outdoors for a walk
