Well I’ve done it I’ve started writing my first blog .
I’d better introduce myself. I’m a 32 year old wife and mum of two age 7 and 9. I’m a lover of all things great,
Great wine great food I like a little bit of the good life and like nothing better than going on holiday and traveling with family but don’t we all ??
As it’s January I thought it was a good time to start this blog as I find I read and watch others blogs vlogs and think I’d like to do that so I’m giving it ago!!!
I thought I’d include a few little resalutions or mini goals I’d like to achieve for 2016.
I know making resalutions in January is a bit of a cliché and mine are usually made and broke in the same week but this year im hoping its going to be different.
Theres things I’d like to achieve for not only myself but for my family too.
We live such busy crazy life’s and I find myself always wishing for the weekend or wishing for that next holiday wishing for the next month . I really need to start enjoying the days a little more appreciate our family unit and us as a couple rather than wishing out life away.
It’s not easy for any of us when your always super busy, work, school runs, swimming lessons, after school clubs, shopping meal and planning just to name a few and that’s before you even thinking about cooking and cleaning and maybe some family time or us time.
Well I’ll shut up now as this is turning into me moaning and that is definitely one of my pet hates although I find myself doing it quite a bit and really trying not to.
I’ll start with just a few things I’d really like to achieve this year and I think I’ll build and change on them as I achieve the small steps.
We want to become more fit and healthy, this is something we have decided to do as a whole family.
Yep January always starts with me doing some fad diet or plan with my husband half joining in and what generally happens is by week two we are all fed up of eating different things it all goes to pot. But this year I want it to be different I want us to do it as a family eat better get more active and enjoy the outside world just that little bit more.
So my aim is to plan healthy meals we can all eat as a family and really focus on being more active. We are planning getting out and enjoying the outdoors a little more.
I’ve got the fridge packed full of healthy food the kids have helped pick out meals for the week.
We are planning dog walking as family and getting outdoors at the weekend.
My life is crazy busy like many mums and families, but part of writing this blog is to sit back and reflect on life.
We sometimes take life for granted and don’t appreciate our love ones and families enough. Before we know it it will be January 2017 another year will be gone. The kids will be another year older. So this year I want to try not to always be racing round like mad women and really enjoy some quality time with the kids and my husband.
This time with them while there Young is precious and sometimes when we are so busy with everyday life we forget this. So here’s to a healthier more active life where we take nothing for granted.
