Running, Baby Lamb & Pompoms #Littleloves

I’m not sure I have a lot to write this week as it seems like the week as passed so quickly, but I’m trying to keep up with my weekly little loves. It’s been a busy old week of not doing very much if that makes sense.

I’ve not really read all that much this week and haven’t pick my book up once. I really want to get back into reading again next week.

I can’t pass this week without mentioning Mind over Marathon . The BBC two part series follows 10 individuals who all suffer with different mental health issues but have decided to train to run the London Marathon in a hope that the training and exercise will help them with their illness but also to help make others aware of mental health problems and the struggles people face on a day to day basis. It was a very inspirational programme and very emotional. They all did so fantastic and I can’t wait to watch next time to see how they are getting on. A couple of years ago I got quite into running myself and have to agree that running really did help focus the mind. I don’t suffer with mental health problems myself so I can’t comment from that aspect but for me running definitely gave me a sense of freedom and helped clear the mind. So Monday I’m going to go on my first run in over a year and hopefully get my running mojo back.

The Easter school holidays are coming to an end and these two weeks have flown by, we’ve enjoyed lots of visits to the park, an Easter egg hunt and also witnessed the birth of a baby Lamb on our visit to the farm. It was a fantastic experience and the kids loved every minute.

After the lovely weather last weekend I actually thought summer was on its way, sadly not and this past week as been freezing. We are back to trousers and coats.

Ruby got a pompom maker as part of her Easter present, so this week it’s been all about pompoms and I have lots of balls of wool and about twenty pompoms floating around the house. There are lots of ideas of what she can make over on Pinterest. She being very adventurous and is planning a pompom rug …yes she’s aiming high. **head in hands**

And Lastly…..

On Monday the kids are back to school, it will be back to normal routine and time to get back into healthy eating after eating my body weight in chocolate and hopefully I will have a bit more to write next week.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and have a great weekend.

Until next time

Caroline X

We saw some lambs this week and all my daughter has been singing is ‘Mary had a Little Lamb’! That series about the London Marathon Runners sounds really good.
