A could-do list for April 2018

Its time to start writing my could-do list for the month ahead. I get inspiration for my could-do list from The simple things magazine  each month. A could-do list is very much like a to-do list except there is no pressure to tick everything off. No checking or stressing about a very long list of things to get done, but instead a gentle reminder of the things we’d like to do in the month ahead. check out my previous could-do list here

Simply write down a few ideas and if you don’t end up doing them all its okay. This list is a gentler way of making a few plans or ideas without worrying if they get pushed out of your mind. No pressure !!

Heres my plans and ideas for April

Think about how to fuel my body with good food and cut down on the C.R.A.P Caffeine, refined sugars, alcohol, processed foods.

Continue to declutter and spring clean our home

Start my running training ….yes it appears I’ll be running my first half marathon in October.

Rediscover qualities I had as a child spontaneity, fearlessness

 Read

Get more fresh air even when its raining

Cut down on the plastic we use and recycle

Bring Spring indoors with fresh blooms

Take a walk on the beach

Shop local

Update my Spring wardrobe and wear all the colours

This list is a great way of including ways in which your can practice a little more self care too, in order to focus on yourself a little more. Enjoy the little things in your everyday life and appreciate the simple things.

What would you write on your could-do list for April ?

Have you ever tried writing your own could-do list ? I would love to hear what you have planned for April.

Until next time

I love these ideas I definitely like the idea of bringing fresh blooms inside, and decluttering, always necessary with kids and their collection of stuff! I already aim to reduce plastic but it’s never easy with supermarkets & online stores cramming every delivery with the stuff.

What a lovely idea! When I make my to do lists, its always about things that absolutely must be done, never about enjoying life or taking care of myself. I might have a go at a might do list too when I’m planning my month ahead. Thank you! X

I love your could do lists, I find them really motivating! Taking a walk on the beach is a must for me. We managed one yeasterday in between the rain showers. This month I am going to try and get better at looking after myself!

I need to get down with this C.R.A.P way of life. I just have zero motivation. I never used to be like this. Perhaps next week will help kick start a new outlook.

I love your aim to embrace fearlessness! I want to be kinder to myself in April. I like to have plans and goals, but I also need to accept I am only human – and need to rest and go to bed early! 😉

Oh I love the idea of a could-do list! I like to be organised and have lists everywhere but, as a total perfectionist, I get so frustrated when I can’t tick everything off, and sometimes there’s so much, I just feel overwhelmed. This seems like such a great way to counter it. Thank you for sharing. I especially liked this one from your list: “Rediscover qualities I had as a child – spontaneity, fearlessness”

And congratulations because someone loved this post so much, they added it to the BlogCrush linky! Feel free to collect your “I’ve been featured” blog badge 🙂 #blogcrush
