A Could Do List …..July

I’m writing my could-do list as its time to say good bye to June and hello to brand new month of July.

June seems a bit of a blurr if I’m honest I kind of lost my way a little in terms of blogging and just focused on the here and now for a little which I’m sure you’ve all done from time to time. I lost my mojo and started to question if I was going to keep writing at all, my daily ramblings and blog posts seem so irrelevant in comparison to what some have gone through and I’m sure we have all felt the negative vibes of the whole country over the last month or so with so many awful events happening in the world but also so much heart ache for friends and family who are having it tough at the moment, Its really puts things into perspective. You start to question everything, I know I do. From the world our children are growing up in, to why bad things seem to happen to good people.

But its a new month and although some people are still having it tough I’ve come to realise that as hard as it might seem we have to accept the reality, I’m not saying we ignore, become hard faced or insensitive to the terrible events in our own or in others lives, but we have to understand that whether we accept these hard times in our life or not horrible things do exist.

So Im getting my postitive pants on enjoying the here and now, taking nothing for granted and enjoying life. I have written my could-do list for July and I’m sharing some ideas of things you my like to try to do or enjoy for the upcoming month, but only if you want to the idea of the could-do list is there is no pressure to do everything but simply enjoy the moment and see where the month takes you.

So here is my could-do list….

Wander and take in life where ever you may go

Lay on the grass or sand, where ever you wish and close your eyes and enjoy the sun on your face.

Eat ice cream

Be more mindful take time to breathe, focus on your breath for a few minutes each day.

Get outdoors and enjoy nature

Ride a bike and feel the wind behind you

Eat home grown fruit and vegetables

Catch up with old friends

My inspiration for my could-do list was taken from The Simple things magazine, where they share a monthly list of  could-dos. I’ve taken a few from their list and also added a few of my own. You can also see what I had on my could-do list for May here.

What would you put on your could-do list for the month of July ? I’d love to hear what your plans are for the upcoming month.

Until next time

Caroline X

A lovely list, especially agree with getting outdoors. My plans for next month are to ramp up my exercising, really sort out my eating, get ready for my next challenge and sell our house *fingers crossed*

I love the idea of a ‘could do’ list! It’s great to plan and aim to better yourself, but without the pressure of set goals – just my kind of thing! In July we need to to sell and organise lots of our belongings ready for moving in a couple of months. I also want to be better at keeping our days organised with the kids routines and spent lots of time hanging out with them! x

I’m so glad you decided to keep writing and put your ‘positive pants’ on! I love your could-do lists, they are so inspiring. I think I’ve done quite a few of these things already this month, which is great. I must remember them whenever life gets a little too much x

I love the idea of a could-do list and i have to confess that is how i mostly see and treat my to-do-lists in that i write the tasks down but i don’t tend to do them in the order. I finish tasks based on another not written order but just as the inspiration flows, so some items will have been crossed and some other not. Lovely to find your blog and to connect, thank you for visiting mine. I love the layout of your blog and the way you display your content, really nice!

Thank you so much laura that’s very kind of you xx I totally agree it’s good to do tasks as they come up rather than stressing about getting them done xxx
